Discover Scuba Diving – Program

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program introduces people to scuba diving in a highly supervised and relaxed manner. It dispels common misconceptions fromout scuba by letting individuals try it for themselves. Under the guidance of a PADI professional, new divers learn basic safety concepts, put on equipment and swim around underwater in a closely supervised environment. The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program can take place in a swimming pool, protected confined open water area and at an open water dive site – anywhere an appropriate, positive introduction to scuba diving is possible.

Complete your dive course which you started at home:

If you have started your diving experience at home in your local diving center (theory and pool must be finished ) you can complete your course with us in the open sea in warm water with a lot of colourful corals and fish to see.
The so called „ Open Water Dives“ with all the exercises will be done under direct supervision of our qualified instructors. Prerequirement is the referral paper given by your local divecenter that you successfully finished the theory and pool exerices which we need before starting the course. Dependend on this paper you can join an ongoing course and within 2 to 3 days you finish your course to become a PADI Open Water Diver

Difference “PADI Scuba Diver” and “PADI Open Water Diver”:

The PADI Scuba Diver (SD) and the PADI Open Water Diver (OWD) start the same way. As the PADI Scuba Diver is a part of the Open Water Divers the course can be finished after 2-3 days. The student will obtain an international Brevet which is limited to a depth of 12meters and you need always a professional to dive with. This course is ideal to start as this course can easily be upgraded to the Open Water Diver later or just within the course. The two missing course days can be added right away and you will obtain the full cerfification to become Open Water Diver at the end.

PADI Scuba Diver Course

The Scuba Diver course is a part of the Open Water Diver course. It allows you to dive under supervision of a certified Dive master, Assistant Instructor or Instructor to a depth up to 12m. The minimum age for Scuba Diver certification is 15, which must be reached by the end of the course. Individuals under the age of 15 may trained according to the Junior Open Water and Junior Scuba Diver standards and must be 10 years old prior to the start date of the course. After certification a 10 or 11-year-olds Junior Scuba Diver must dive with a PADI Professional. Dives must not exceed 12m/40Ft. Junior Scuba Diver may upgrade their certification level to PADI Scuba Diver when they reach the age of 15 with no additional requirements.

Open Water Diver Course

This diving licence is worldwide accepted and allows you to dive by all certified diving centers. The course will prepare you to dive independent and secure up to a depth of 18m. The minimum age for Open Water Diver certification is 15, which must be reached by the end of the course. Individuals under the age of 15 may trained according to the Junior Open Water Diver standards and must be 10 years old prior to the start date of the course. After certification a 10 or 11-year-olds Junior Open Water Diver must dive with a parent, guardian or PADI Professional. Dives must not exceed 12m/40Ft. Junior Open Water Diver may upgrade their certification level to PADI Open Water Diver when they reach the age of 15 with no additional requirements.

Advanced Open Water Diver Course

The adventure continues…
After completing your Open Water Diver course you were searching for a new goal, some special skills or interests you have and would like to explore. Or just take your diving to a higher level?
We can help you here at Blue Brothers Diving in El Gouna. Our instructors will help you to go deeper than you did go before and explain you the basics of navigation underwater. The other dives of this course (3) you can choose out of different other specialties like search & recovery, night, wreck, drift, underwater naturalist, Project Aware Fish identification, scooter, digital underwater camera and many many more. You might even consider to combine your Advanced Open Water course with the Nitrox Course, it can all be done in the same 3 days…

PADI Rescue Diver Course

The PADI Rescue Diver course is a pivotal step in expanding a diver’s knowledge and experience. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers. This is why the PADI Rescue Diver certification is a prerequisite for all PADI leadership-level training (PADI Dive Master, Assistant Instructor, and Open Water Scuba Instructor) or an other step towards the Master Scuba Diver.
An Emergency First Response Course is a pre requirement for the Rescue Course. e.g. PADI-EFR-Specialty or equivalent.

Divemaster Course

The PADI Divemaster Certification is the first step to become a PADI professional and the entry point to become an instructor. With this course the candidate will get detailed practice in diving and rescue skills in demonstration quality and learn theory about diving on a professional level. The candidate will also competence as certified assistant , ability to do dive-planning and supervision and will learn to run PADI-Programs on his own.

Specialty courses

Enriched Air / Nitrox Specialty

The theory can be done on the boat while going to the dive sites. Through that, the advantages of Nitrox can be used during the first dive of the holiday. You will learn how to analyse the gas in your tank and how to use the Fill-Log. Diving with Nitrox has been the most educated specialty in the last few years and is very much appreciated by divers all over the world. The reason for this movement is quite simple: diving with Nitrox gives you active safety during your dive.
As we have less Nitrogen in our tank, the risks of having a nitrogen narcosis or DCS are being reduced.
Apart from this, we could also go for the extended bottom times which can be achieved by diving with Nitrox.
During the course you will learn how to plan your dives with nitro using special tables, what to take care about diving with Nitrox and you will get an idea how to analyse the gas.

Peak Performance Buoyancy

The purpose of the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course is to polish a diver’s buoyancy control beyond the Open Water Diver level. The goal of PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy training is to enhance the student diver diver’s buoyancy control abilities through knowledge development and practical skills practice.

Wreck-Diver

You want to discover sunken ships, planes and lost antiques under water ? Then the PADI wreck diver specialty course is what you are looking for.
During your course you will make four dives.

Deep-Diver

Wrecks are laying often in a depth below 30m and more or you would like to go that deep to see different animals. However: Deepdiving is one of the most fascinating aspects of diving. It also needs special techniques, knowledge and training to make sure that you can enjoy your dives.
The PADI Specialty course „Deep Diver“ is what you need.
The course contain 4 dives where the minimum depth is 60feet and the maximum depth is 130 feet.
All dives are planned as non decompression dives.

Digital Underwater Photographer

This course is a two-part introduction to digital underwater photography centered around point-and-shoot digital cameras. It may be split into two certifications – Level One and Level Two – or conducted as a continuous course resulting in a Level Two certification. The course helps scuba divers and snorkelers develop the knowledge, skills and practical techniques necessary to obtain excellent photographs with a digital camera, even on their first photo dive.
